Where it all began

Elemod Electronics was established in 1987 by Rodney Hyman in his home garage.  Rodney had worked for Otis Elevators for 27 years and was approached by them to develop a new button which would integrate with existing equipment.  This was the beginning of a new adventure and business opportunity for Rodney, thus the Birth of Elemod Electronics (Elevator Modernization).  It was the start of many new designs as customer base grew so did their requirements and Rodney always stepped up to the challenges and developed products to suit the growing needs of the lift industry.  With the growth of the Company it was necessary to move premises, employ more staff and acquire more equipment all the while servicing the industry.  The same work ethic is still employed today to assist in the Lift Industry however possible.
